Getting to Paxos

Simple routes from Corfu and the mainland to reach your sailing experience

Paxos has no airport, so all arrivals are by sea.
Most guests reach the island via Corfu, with frequent ferry and hydrofoil connections throughout the day.
From mainland Greece, ferries operate from Igoumenitsa, offering a direct and convenient route.

From Corfu to Paxos

Corfu is the most common arrival point, with an international airport and daily connections from many European cities.
From Corfu, you can reach Paxos by ferry, hydrofoil, or private transfer.

Ferry & Hydrofoil

Daily ferry and hydrofoil services connect Corfu to Paxos, departing from Corfu Port

and from South Corfu to Paxos departing from Lefkimmi harbor.

Travel time ranges from approximately 1 hour to 1 hour and 45 minutes from Corfu Port, depending on the vessel and approximately 45 minutes from Lefkimmi Port.

During the summer months, multiple departures are available throughout the day.

Private Sea Transfers

For a more flexible and premium experience, private boat transfers can be arranged directly from Corfu town, Lefkimmi or Cavos in the south part of the island

This option allows you to choose your departure time and enjoy a more personalized journey to Paxos.

Private transfers are operated by independent providers. We do not offer this service directly, but several companies are available and can be arranged separately.

Arriving at Corfu Airport

Corfu International Airport (CFU) is located just 20–30 minutes from the Corfu town port
and approximately 1-1.5 hours from Lefkimmi port.
If you are arriving by air, allow sufficient time to transfer to the port before your ferry departure.

We recommend allowing at least 1.5–2 hours between landing and departure.

From Mainland Greece to Paxos

Paxos is also accessible from mainland Greece via the port of Igoumenitsa.
This is a convenient option for guests traveling by car or exploring northern Greece.

Ferry from Igoumenitsa

Regular ferry services connect Igoumenitsa to Paxos, with crossings typically lasting between 1 hour 30 minutes and 2 hours.

Schedules vary depending on the season, with more frequent departures during the summer months.

 

Advance booking is recommended, especially during peak season.

Private Sea Transfer from Igoumenitsa

Private boat transfers from Igoumenitsa to Paxos are also available, offering a faster and more flexible alternative to scheduled ferries.

Private transfers are operated by independent providers and are not offered directly by Kohili Sailing.

All arrivals are at Gaios Port, where your cruise departure point will be easily accessible.
